Cassava Flour Rolls | Gluten-Free Rolls & Biscuits

These cassava flour rolls are simple, comforting, and easy to work into everyday meals. They bake up soft and fluffy with a lightly crisp outside, giving you a gluten-free roll that feels familiar without using wheat. Cassava flour and tapioca starch keep the texture light, while eggs, Greek yogurt, and avocado oil add moisture and richness. A small amount of maple syrup or honey balances the flavor without making the rolls sweet.

If you’re looking for a dependable gluten-free biscuit to serve with dinner or enjoy on its own, this recipe delivers. These rolls are great alongside soups and stews, with eggs at breakfast, or warm from the oven with butter. They’re sturdy enough to slice and fill, but tender enough to enjoy plain.

Cassava flour has a mild, neutral taste, so these rolls don’t feel
“alternative” or overpowering. They’re straightforward, made in one bowl, and come together quickly—perfect for when you want fresh, homemade gluten-free baking that doesn’t feel complicated or overthought.
