Cassava Flour Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Madame Sarah Cassava Flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tsp Madame Sarah Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 flax egg (1 tbs flax meal plus 3 tablespoons)
  • 5 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. 
  2. Mix your flax egg and set aside, 1 tablespoon of flax meal mixed with 3 tablespoons of water. 
  3. Add the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and combine. Then add oil, water, and flax egg and mix to form a dough. If you’re dough feels too dry add a little bit more water (one tablespoon at a time). If it is too wet add more cassava flour. 
  4. Once the dough is formed, roll it out in between two pieces of parchment paper to form a round crust about 10 inches in diameter. Transfer parchment paper with crust to a baking sheet and bake at 350F for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. 
  5. Remove from oven, add your pizza toppings and cook at 425F for another 10 minutes.
